Kenyuatia Gash, LCSW holds two Masters degrees; Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and a Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from Point Park University a in Pittsburgh, PA., and is a MAC certification (Masters Addiction Counselor ).
With more than 12 years in the mental health and behavioral services profession, providing direct clinical services to a variety of psychiatric needs including, substance abuse, and mood disorders, couples and individual counseling.
Kenyuatia is a Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Trainer and Consultant, facilitating group sessions to teenage girls and women.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist, Kenyuatia specializes in offering outpatient therapeutic counseling services to children (ages 8-12), adolescents, adults and families through individual and group therapy who struggle with substance abuse, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma and other emotional disturbances with a parallel approach of Christian-based counseling.
“My aspiration in everything I do is to inspire, empower and encourage someone daily,” she said. “I believe that I was created with a purpose to reach those less fortunate than myself. As I continue in my professional and spiritual journey I can see clearly now why I was chosen to endure many challenges at an early age. These circumstances were challenging, however, they defined my purpose and inspired my destiny.”
